CMN holds 4th Convergence to build national impact

The Campus Ministry Network (CMN) convened once again for the 4th time last November 20 via Zoom with the theme “Impacting The Nation!”

Hosted by Philippine Student Alliance Lay Movement (PSALM) through the leadership of its National Director, Mr. Christer T. Luchavez, the said convergence was attended by 97 Campus Missionaries, leaders and students from different Campus Ministries all over the country. There were representatives from PSALM, Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru), Youth With A Mission (YWAM), Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF), Resonate, Elevate, Navigators, Wired Gatherings and others from other churches.

Bishop Noel Pantoja, the National Director of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC), who was appointed to speak at that moment, dared every participant to take part in making a difference in our nation as “we are called to model our lives after Christ’s.” There were also life-changing and nation-building testimonies from the campus missionaries of YWAM Philippines Impact. A video testimony from the representative of “Tamang Ako, Tamang Kandidato” was also featured during the event. In addition, the Philippines’ Miss Universe 2010 Ms. Venus Raj, through a promotional video, persuasively challenged everyone in the room to join the Christian Values Movement as supported by PCEC in educating the Filipinos about the Biblical values as guides in choosing the right candidates for the upcoming elections.

Moreover, the allotted time for breakout room’ sessions has added to the impactful program as everyone was able to meet new friends, share their dreams and the practical things they can do to make an impact in our country, the beloved Philippines.

Overall, the event was a great manifestation of unity among all the body of believers of Jesus Christ from the recognized Campus Ministries in the Philippines.
